“Do I actually need a new divan base, or can I just replace the mattress?”
We get asked this a lot — and the answer is not necessarily.
If your existing divan base is still in good condition, supportive, the correct size and suitable for the mattress you're buying, you may be absolutely fine keeping it and replacing the mattress only.
But we'd be more cautious if your base is older, damaged, sagging or no longer providing even support. Putting a lovely new mattress onto a base that's seen better days isn't going to do it any favours.
There's also no harm in asking us.
Tell us what you've currently got and we'll advise you whether we'd recommend replacing it.
Sometimes the answer genuinely is “keep your base and spend your money on the mattress.” 🛏️
We'd much rather you bought what you actually need.
