A quick afternoon nap can be a great way to recharge, but timing is key.

A short nap of around **20–30 minutes** is often enough to help you feel refreshed without leaving you feeling sluggish afterwards.

Longer naps can sometimes make it more difficult to fall asleep later that evening, so if you do enjoy a daytime snooze, keeping it short is usually best.
